In Poland, over 80 000 children are deprived of parental care, and 30% live below the poverty line. Many of them grow up in homes where poverty, alcohol and violence are on the agenda. These numbers show how many Polish children need of care and how serious task is before the Association of SOS Children's Villages. Our goal is to provide children a happy childhood and prepare them for adult life. To be an adult you first need to be a child.
SOS Children's Villages in Poland are the home and support for the 1427 orphaned children.

Playground will help our children to benefit from outdoor activities and experience a carefree childhood. Every child deserves a carefree childhood, that’s why we want to build in the SOS Village in Karlino a playground. It will serve many generations. We want a joyful laugh of children to be heard in the SOS Village, and not sorrow that someone took the only swing again.

Fun is not just entertainment, but also determinant of physical and mental development. Mobility, maintains the correct posture, affects the physical condition and well-being. Games in which the child participates in the playground are very versatile means of stimulating the body.
We want our wards - children abandoned and orphaned have equal opportunities in the development of both physical and mental. Playground is a place where every child should have access and reap the joy.

Playground construction project will contribute to the physical and mental development of SOS Children's Villages wards. In this way children will learn to build relationships, have fun in a group. They will also learn to respect the common ownership and sharing with others, and above all given the chance for a carefree, happy childhood, which did not provide their birth parents. Which was not provided by their birth parents.
